Alerts that shouldnt be

I keep getting an alert that a "heavy rain event" is approaching my area. Radar shows no rain within 50 miles of my area. What gives? This is a recent problem that needs to get fixed. Otherwise its a pretty good app. I also noticed that the "Tropics" tab gives me a radar map of my area; not the tropics. Odd.
